I'm Shakur Remy, a San Antonio REALTOR® with Relive Realty. I represent buyers and sellers across Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Stone Oak and The Dominion, and I hold every deal to the same standard: know the real number, move fast, and protect your position before anyone else's.
Start with a conversation. We'll talk through what you're buying or selling, the neighborhoods that fit, and the timeline that actually works for your life. Then I go to work, and I don't stop until the keys are in your hand.
First place, growing family, or the estate you've earned: I work the whole market. Here are the areas buyers are moving on right now, low to high.
Walk a decorated model in San Antonio's fastest-growing communities. Find one that feels like home, hit Tour this model, and I'll set the appointment and meet you there in person. Representation on a new build costs you nothing, so there's no reason to walk in alone.

A real walkthrough beats a photo gallery. Watch any of these, then text me and I’ll set the in-person tour.
Full walkthrough
One agent from the first tour to the closing table. No handoffs, no call center, no stranger picking up the phone when it matters most.
From your first search to the keys in your hand, with access to listings before they ever hit the open market, so you're never chasing what everyone else already found.
Priced with real data, prepared to show, and put in front of the buyers who are actually ready to pay for it.
Moving to San Antonio or adding a property? Neighborhood guidance, remote tours, and numbers that hold up.
No surprises. You’ll always know the next step and the timeline.
Consult & pre-approve. We define the brief and get you a lender letter or proof of funds so offers are taken seriously.
Search & tour. On-market, coming-soon, and quiet listings, all toured on your schedule.
Offer & option period. We price the offer to the comps and use the Texas option period to inspect with a right to walk.
Inspections & appraisal. Findings negotiated, lender ordered appraisal reviewed, title cleared.
Close. Final walkthrough, sign at title, keys in hand. Typically 30–45 days when financed.
Walkthrough & pricing. A comparative market analysis and a pricing plan tied to current buyer demand.
Prepare. Staging, targeted repairs, and professional photo and video direction.
List & market. MLS, portal syndication, and paid digital reach to buyers in your price band.
Review offers. Every term modeled to your net proceeds, not just the headline price.
Under contract to close. Manage the buyer’s option period, appraisal, and financing through funding.
Most people I work with aren’t buying luxury. They’re buying their first place, and they carry the same three questions everyone does. Here are the straight answers, no jargon.
No. In this market most first-time buyers I work with put down far less.
Often yes. And if it’s not quite there yet, we build a plan to get you there.
Five steps, and I’m with you on every one.
We’ll figure out if now’s the right time, together. No obligation, just clarity.
Get a considered, data-backed valuation, not an automated guess that's wrong the moment you need it to be right. Send the address, and you’ll hear back from me personally, the same day.
Request my home valuationA quick principal, interest, tax, and insurance estimate. For a real pre-approval I’ll introduce you to a local lender.
Estimate only. Not a loan offer, quote, or commitment to lend. Rates, taxes, and insurance vary.
Since 2024, buyers sign a written representation agreement that states the agent’s compensation before touring homes. That fee is negotiable and may be paid by the seller, by you, or split between you. We go over the numbers up front, so there are no surprises at closing.
For a small option fee, the buyer gets a set number of days to terminate the contract for any reason. It’s when inspections happen. If anything material turns up, you can renegotiate or walk and get your earnest money back.
In the San Antonio market it’s commonly around 1% of the purchase price, held by the title company and credited to you at closing. Stronger earnest money can make an offer more competitive on a sought-after home.
Typically: negotiated agent compensation, title and escrow fees, prorated property taxes, and sometimes a survey, HOA transfer, or buyer concessions. I give you a net-proceeds estimate before we list and update it with every offer.
It's the right first step for any budget. A lender pre-approval tells us your real price range, and it lets us move fast and write a strong offer when the right home shows up. Some higher-priced listings require it before a showing is even confirmed.
About 30–45 days from accepted offer to closing when financed, faster for cash. New construction runs on the builder’s timeline.
Texas has no state income tax; property tax rates in Bexar County generally run a little over 2% of assessed value depending on the taxing entities. A homestead exemption lowers the taxable value on your primary residence.
Yes, and it’s worth having representation. The builder’s contract is written to protect the builder, not you, so I review the agreement, incentives, upgrades, and timeline before you sign anything.
You’ll always know the number before you need it: what a home is really worth, what you’ll net, and what every next step costs.
Straight math, no surprises at the table
One agent start to finish. The person you meet at the first showing is the person sitting next to you at closing.
No handoffs, no call center
No pressure, ever. If a home isn’t right, or the timing isn’t right, I’ll be the first to say so.
Your position comes before the commission
Want to hear it from someone who’s already done this? I’ll connect you with recent buyers and sellers, ideally in the neighborhood and price range you’re considering. Ask for a reference list and decide for yourself.
